Does the Elgato Facecam have a built-in microphone?

No. The Facecam is image-only. You will need an external mic (USB or XLR). Elgato has its own mics (Wave:3, Wave:1) that fit the ecosystem, but any USB mic works.

Does the Facecam work with OBS and Streamlabs?

Yes. The Facecam shows up as a video device in any streaming or video-call software that supports UVC (USB Video Class), including OBS Studio, Streamlabs, XSplit, Zoom, Teams and others.

Is Elgato Camera Hub software required?
